Job Description

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Platform at TalentProof, you will be a visionary leader responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy for our core platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security. You will lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the TalentProof platform, aligning with business objectives and market needs.
Lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of engineers, architects, and engineering managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable, and resilient platform services and infrastructure.
Ensure the platform's architectural integrity, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies, tools, and best practices into the development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with product management, business development, and executive teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
Represent TalentProof's technical vision to stakeholders, partners, and the broader tech community.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in software development, architecture, and engineering leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Platform).
Proven track record of successfully building and scaling high-performance, cloud-native platforms from conception to production.
Deep expertise in modern software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures), API design, and distributed systems.
Strong technical background in areas such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data streaming technologies.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
