As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Platform at TalentProof, you will be a visionary leader responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy for our core platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security. You will lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the TalentProof platform, aligning with business objectives and market needs.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of engineers, architects, and engineering managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable, and resilient platform services and infrastructure.
• Ensure the platform's architectural integrity, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies, tools, and best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with product management, business development, and executive teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Represent TalentProof's technical vision to stakeholders, partners, and the broader tech community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, architecture, and engineering leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Platform).
• Proven track record of successfully building and scaling high-performance, cloud-native platforms from conception to production.
• Deep expertise in modern software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures), API design, and distributed systems.
• Strong technical background in areas such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data streaming technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
• Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
