Sr. Fronted Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and contribute to the technical vision and architecture of our frontend stack.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new user-facing features using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver compelling user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications.

Qualifications

• Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
  • Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Extensive experience with a modern JavaScript framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (React preferred).
  • Strong understanding of state management patterns and libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Context API).
  • Solid experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Gulp).
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) concepts.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

You will lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the TalentProof platform, aligning with business objectives and market needs.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of engineers, architects, and engineering managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable, and resilient platform services and infrastructure.
• Ensure the platform's architectural integrity, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies, tools, and best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with product management, business development, and executive teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Represent TalentProof's technical vision to stakeholders, partners, and the broader tech community.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, architecture, and engineering leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Platform).
• Proven track record of successfully building and scaling high-performance, cloud-native platforms from conception to production.
• Deep expertise in modern software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures), API design, and distributed systems.
• Strong technical background in areas such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (SQL, NoSQL), and data streaming technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
• Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
